Hardware Management:

 The Situation
This system is an internal system we designed for our own company. We used to manage hardware information and developing tools on a server, however, as the company develops, the information surged and information management became time-and-energy-consuming. Therefore, we developed this system which is a more user-friendly solution.

 The Solution
This integrated system is a platform which enables the staff to manage their hardware information and download software more effectively. Staff can submit hardware information and download development tools via the system. The solution includes four major modules: User Management, Hardware Management, Software Management and Hardware Maintenance.

 The Challenge
The management of hardware information requires different operational levels for different users. The solution consists of a complex authority system that ensures the system security. In developing process, we also have to handle a vast amount of history data. Moreover, the time allocated is considerably limited.

 The Result
We completed the system within ten days, and it fulfills the expectant functions very well. The solution covers the whole process of hardware management including purchasing, replacing and recycling. And it provides a platform for staff to download developing tools as well. Our proficiency in hardware management is enhanced dramatically and similar solutions can be applied in businesses of all kinds.
