Logistics Service Solution:

 The Situation
The client is a fast growing logistic service company based in Manchester. They provide international package delivery service to customers in Great Manchester area. Along with the growth of their business, they felt it difficult to efficiently and effectively manage hundreds of the orders through their traditional manual methods. Thus they hoped to introduce IT system to support their operation.

 The Solution
We designed an integrated on-line solution which not only solved the management problems from the client, but also imported the new e-business channel. The system contains following six major functions: Online Ordering, Order Monitoring, Customer Management, Internal Messaging System, Online Payment, and Transportation Management.

 The Challenge
The client themselves could not clearly describe the business processes and exception situations about their service. In this case, we spent almost one month working together with our client to write out the requirement specification. After specifying the details of client’s requirement, we successfully completed the development work.

 The Result
The system fully covered client’s concerns on his business. The client further requested us to implement a sister system in New Zealand for his similar business.
